New Jimi Hendrix Seattle Statue Painting

For some time I have wanted to paint the Jimi Hendrix statue that sits on Broadway in Seattle's Capitol Hill. I love that the statue captures Jimi in that moment that sicks in our collective minds - him kneeling with that guitar that you can almost seem to hear when you are next to it. https://www.michaelbirawer.com/collections/seattle-art/products/jimi-lives-in-capitol-hill-original-painting

I made a time lapse video of the painting over a three-day period. It will be shipped to Seattle soon. I hope you enjoy it!
